The Secret Gourmet visits The Olive Garden

Arriving at the very busy Olive Garden, my companion and I had about a 10-minute wait before being escorted to our table by a hostess. Shortly after being seated, our waiter, Steven, appeared with water, breadsticks and menus. He took our drink orders and while he was gone to fill them, we had some time to look over the extensive menu and discuss what each of us would order. Billie Patricia Terry, of Liberty, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at North Kansas City Hospital, Kansas City, at the age of 76. Mary A. Mead, formerly of Branson, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at he HCR Manor Care, Springfield, at the age of 87. She was born April 14, 1921, in Branson, the daughter of Alfred and Isabel (Firman) Hodge. She worked for several years at the Branson Garmet Factory at a seamstress. Former Lady Bear and all-time leading women’s scorer Jackie Stiles co-hosting a camp at the recPlex Friday morning. The Branson RecPlex has finally outdone themselves.
