Black tie celebration announced

The 62nd Annual Black Tie Celebration will be held on Feb. 20, 2009, at the Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center.
The event is presented by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, said Ladona Johnson, Director of Member Services.
Last year, more than 500 people enjoyed the three-course dinner in the elegantly decorated ballroom. The highlight is the presentation of the Community Awards in several categories, recognizing those who go above-and-beyond to enrich their community through their service to others.
Sponsorships are available on several levels. Last year, corporate sponsor Zales the Diamond Store Outlet provided gifts of diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires. Among the benefits for sponsors is the display of their company logos in the ballroom, Johnson said.
“It’s the place to be seen, and the place for your logo to be seen,” Johnson said.
The theme of the event will be unveiled soon.
